OUR TEAM

Our Team

Garret and Tim have been friends since they met at Archbishop Williams High School in 2005. They wanted to build a business that was different than what we have today. One that puts not only it's clients first, but also the various communities that it serves clients in.

"We certainly aren't hoping people require our services, but when they inevitably do need us our client families always quickly see how different we are."

Garret McDonald - President and Type 3 Licensed Funeral Director

Garret McDonald is a fourth generation, Weymouth Funeral Director. His father, George McDonald Jr. owned McDonald Funeral Homes also located in Weymouth, along with his three brothers, until 2011 when the Funeral Home was sold. Garret considers himself very lucky to have had the years that he did working and learning under his family’s direction. “Those years I had working with my father and uncles really shaped me as a Funeral Director.

They all showed me what people are really looking for when they come to a funeral home; respect, compassion, and most importantly they want to be comfortable.” says Garret.

Garret loves volunteering and has been a member of the Weymouth Elks since 2015. He has been volunteering his time to set up the Weymouth Elks Memorial Sunday service to honor deceased Elks for the last ten years.

“I love that I am serving people that my family has been there for in the past. It is important to me to not only meet, but also try to exceed the expectations that the families I serve have for me and my family’s name.” – Garret McDonald
