William Whalen, Jr.

William (David) Whalen, Jr. of Whitman formerly of Carver and Plymouth passed away on Friday January 8, 2010. He was 44. The loving son of William (David) Whalen, Sr. of Middleboro and Paula J. Whalen of Whitman and husband of Christina L. (Smith) Whalen of Easton. His will be sadly missed by his three daughters, Alexandra, Samantha, and Melanie Whalen all of Easton; they were his life. Brother of Jackie and Mark Carnello of Middleboro, Betty and Mike Quinn of Plymouth, and John and Laura Whalen of Whitman. David is also survived by several nieces and nephews who have many fond memories of him. David loved the beach and spent many days and nights walking the beach and playing with his girls, when he wasn’t enjoying a Red Sox or Bruins game.
Visiting hours will be at the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Wednesday, Jan 13 from 4-8 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Ghost Church in Whitman on Thursday, Jan 14 at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
Interment at St. James Cemetery in Whitman.
