John "Jack" Blixt

John “Jack” D. Blixt of Taunton formerly of Dorchester passed away September 17, 2010 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 63. Jack was the owner of BL Transportation and Limousine Service in Boston and Taunton. He was the founding Chairman of the Rhode Island Chapter of the Jimmy Fund. He is survived by his girlfriend Donna Nimeskern of Taunton. Son of Genevieve C. (Kenney) Blixt of Rockland and the late John A. Blixt. Father of Kristin Blixt, and Jennifer Caputo both of S. Easton. Brother of Patricia McDonough of Holbrook, Karin Andreasen of Whitman, and Denise Carter of Abington. Also survived by grandchildren Colby Blixt and Sophia Caputo.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Wednesday Sept. 22 ^nd 4-7 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday in the Funeral Home at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
