David Smith Howie, of Falmouth age 81 passed away April 28 at the Embassy Nursing Home in Brockton. David, known to his family as “Smith” was born in North Carolina in 1928, the youngest of a large family. During the Korean War he entered the army and was stationed at Camp Edwards on Cape Cod. While stationed on the Cape he met and married the late Helen Christopulos of Buzzards Bay. After being honorably discharged from the service they settled in Falmouth, Ma. David is survived by his son David W. Howie, daughter- in- law, Rebecca, of FL. His grandchildren, Mark and Megan and his many friends at the Embassy Nursing Home.
Funeral Service and interment will be at Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday May 3
