William Flynn

William J. "Bill" Flynn of Braintree, entered into rest Aug. 20, 2014, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of recently deceased Patricia A. (Fitzgerald) Flynn. Dear son of the late Robert J. and Alice A. (Flannigan) Flynn. Devoted father of William Flynn and his wife Jillian, James Flynn and his wife Monique, Luann Patnaude and her husband Daniel, and Nancy Schaefer-Flynn and her wife Blaire. Cherished grandfather of Ian, Alyanna, Nathan, Rhiannon, Cecilia, McKenzie, Tessa, Kylie and Cormac. Brother of the late Robert J. and Edward. Adored uncle to many in the Fitzgerald, Spring and Flynn Families. Being with family and friends brought him the most joy. Bill grew up in South Boston and graduated from Boston Trade High School. As a talented Tool and Die Maker, he rose to become Plant Manager at LE Mason Company in Hyde Park. After a brief retirement, Bill opened and ran Central Square Sports Cards in Weymouth for 10 years.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church in Braintree.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held after the service at the Common Market in Milton.
