William A. Ferguson, Sr. of Rockland formerly of Weymouth passed away Tuesday March 24, 2015 at age 79. Husband of the late Anna E. (Lewis) Ferguson. He is survived by his son William A. Ferguson, Jr. of Abington. Grandchildren John Ferguson and his wife Kristin and Robert Ferguson and his fiancée Kristen. Great Grandfather of Bailey Ferguson. Brother of the late Leonard Ferguson and Gertrude Backus.
William worked for Kennedy Clothing for 28 years, and he was an avid boater out of Scituate Harbor. He was a former player for the Cohasset Executive Hockey League during the 70’s.
Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Friday March 27 th 5-8 pm.
Funeral Service in the funeral home on Saturday at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
Interment will be private.
