Wendy Champagne, of Framingham, died at home on March 24, 2013. She leaves behind her son, Chance, her father, Michael, her brother, Shawn, four aunts, one uncle, seven cousins, and many treasured friends. Wendy was a free spirit with an adventurous streak and a zest for life. She was a very kind person who always saw and brought out the good in others. Her passions were many and varied: singing, dancing, acting, cooking, travelling with Chance, sitting by the pool with friends, and giving legendary parties. No matter how busy she was, she always found time for a cup of coffee and a chat with a friend. She truly cared about her friends and loved to share stories with them. Wendy was generous to a fault | she would literally give away her last dime to someone in need. She had a vivacious spirit, an infectious laugh, and carefree manner that will be missed by so many people whose lives she touched.
A memorial service celebrating Wendy's life will be held Saturday, April 6, at 2 p.m., at the Edwards Church, 30 Edwards St., Framingham. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Heifer International.
