Timothy Bowers

Timothy John Bowers ("Tim") of Southbridge, MA died on August 24, 2024 at age 59 after four years of health challenges. He will be greatly missed by his siblings Bill, Matt, Ned, Kate, Dan, and Jane. He was predeceased by his parents, Kevin and Edna Bowers, and by his brother, T‑K. 

A graduate of Holbrook High School and Northeastern University, he was an engineer at Avery Dennison and at Denison Pharmaceuticals, but his heart was in the outdoors. Tim loved fishing, skiing, and hiking. He was a quintessential New England guy who was seldom seen without a Red Sox baseball cap. He made friends easily with his charm and love of laughter. His boundless optimism and indomitable spirit will be missed by many devoted friends, especially Boe and Kurt, who provided so much support to him in the last few years. 

A gathering in his memory will take place, weather permitting, at Wendell Cemetery in Holbrook MA at 1pm on Saturday November 9, 2024.
