Suzanne Suttenberg LICSW of Wayland, age 69, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2016. Daughter of Anne Jurman and Burt Katzman, MD (Harrisburg, PA) and wife of Allan Checkoway. Beloved mother of Bryan and Katie Suttenberg (Grove Hts, MN) and Jill and Kevin SIok (Dover, NH); stepmother of Jennifer (Hallendale, FL) and Jessica (Sandwich, MA) Checkoway. Much loved grandmother of Charlie and Bodie Siok and Alex and Charlotte Suttenberg.
Graduate of University of Pittsburgh;Simmons School of Social Work. Suzanne was an avid reader, traveler, lover of the arts, and exceptional psychotherapist. She worked at Medfield State, Gaebler Unit, Westwood Lodge, and had a private practice in Wellesley and Norwood.
