Susan Lima Burke

Susan A. (Cotton) Lima Burke of Lakeville passed away on Friday December 30, 2016 at the age of 55. Beloved wife of Kevin B. Burke. Sue Thoroughly enjoyed spending her time surrounded by family and friends. She traveled between Ma and Florida every year. She loved being outdoors, completing home projects, and cooking up a storm. Her grandchildren lit up her world and made her life complete. Sue fought a long and hard battle with cancer, but was always worried about everyone else. That was just the kind of person she was. She was dearly loved by everyone she met. If you had the pleasure of knowing and loving her, she was always laughing.

She was the daughter of Ethel  (Murphy) Souza  and the late Ernest Cotton of Middleboro. The loving mother of Julie (Lima) Horn  and Bryan Lima both of VA. Sister of Judy Dionne and her husband Scott  of Middleboro, Richard Cotton and his wife Jan of Wareham, Linda Holdsworth and Cheryl Souza both Bridgewater, and the late Patricia Cotton of Middleboro. Grandmother of Charlotte and Ruby. Also survived by Many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home 760 Washington St., Whitman Monday Jan. 2nd  4 to 7:30 PM. with service's in the Funeral Home at 7:30 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
