Sharon Louise Maguire, 63 of Brockton passed away Thursday February 9th, 2017 after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer. The loving mother of Tina L. Maguire of Brockton, her fiancé Lucien K. Kouame, and Leo J. Maguire and his wife Justine M. Maguire of Hanson. Survived by her longtime partner James Byrd of Brockton.  Sister of the late Robert “Bobby” Snyder of Taunton, Jay Snyder of Hanover, David Snyder of Brockton, daughter of the late Robert & Ethel Snyder of Florida.   She was the beloved Grandmother of Alicia Rosario of Brockton, Brittany Maguire of Hanson, Antonio Rosario serving in US Army, Katelynn Maguire of Hanson, Amari Kouame of Brockton, and Anaya Kouame of Brockton.

Sharon was an award winning pool player. She played at Dylan’s Pub in Brockton where she loved to spend time with friends. She also enjoyed going to the Alamo in Brockton to hang out with friends and play a game of pool, play the slots, and sing Karaoke, where everyone wanted to hear her sing “Short, Short Man”. Sharon left a lasting memory with everyone she knew. She was always there for anyone when they needed help and was called “Ma” by many.

Sharon loved her grandchildren, “grandbabies” as she called them.  She was proud of each one and spoke about them to everyone she knew. She was always the loudest at all their sporting events and graduations.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday February 15th 2017 5-8 PM at the MacKinnon Funeral home 760 Washington Street Whitman MA 02382
