Sandra Whitman

Sandra “Sandy” Grace (Petros) Whitman, widow of the late Robert D, Whitman Sr., passed away Thursday February 27, 2020 after battling a brief illness.  She was the daughter of the late Michael and Isabelle Petros (Nana and Opa) of Easton, MA and the sister of the late Michael and Kenneth Petros.

Sandy is survived by her three sons and their spouses Robert Jr and Jacqueline of Abington, MA, Eric and Christine of Charles Town WV, and Brian and Deborah of Warwick RI along with 14 grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She also leaves behind her partner James Wood of Port Charlotte FL.

Sandy spent her final years enjoying life to the fullest chasing sunsets in Aruba and participating in all the activities offered in her retirement community.  She will be missed by all except maybe the many Casinos she loved to exploit.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Sunday March 15 ^th 2-5 pm with a brief service to follow at 5 pm. Burial will take place Monday March 16 ^th 10 am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, MA.
