Ruth Gould

Ruth (Newman) Gould, age 102, Of Hingham, MA, formerly longtime resident of Longmeadow, MA passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her family at home on April 6, 2018.  She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, James J. Gould, Sr.   She is survived by her children and their spouses.  James J. Gould, Jr. of Sacramento, CA, Patricia G. Forbes and her husband Gary of Arvada, CO, Dennis M. Gould and his wife Cindy, of Hingham, MA and Kevin D. Gould of Longmeadow, MA, and her daughter in law Nancy J. Otto of East Longmeadow, MA.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rev. Derek M. Forbes of Logan, UT, Shannon L. Forbes of Steamboat Springs, CO, Ryan W. Gould of Boston, MA, William E. Gould of Longmeadow, MA, Rebecca J. Gould of East Longmeadow, MA, Emily Brooks-Gould of Chicopee, MA, great grandson Evan J. Gould, and many nieces and nephews.

Born in West Hatfield, MA she was the daughter of James A. Newman and Italia W. Newman.  She was pre deceased by her eight sisters and brothers.   Marie Proctor of Weston, MA, Joseph Newman, James Newman, Ord Newman, Kenneth Newman, and Hazel Sitek all of Springfield, MA and Claire Egan and Clyde Newman of San Diego, CA.

Interment will be private in Longmeadow, MA.
