Russell Wolfe, age 90, passed away January 17, 2015, in Bridgewater, Mass. Raised in Utah, he married after WWII, attended grad school at Cornell which led to the post war Rte 128 electronics boom and Lexington, MA for 40 years. He retired in Santa Fe, NM. Russell was an extraordinary man who dedicated his life to making the world a better place to live. His generosity and kindness will be remembered by his family and friends and by those who were privileged to work at his side. His achievements in science, from wind energy to new pathways in physics, will continue to serve mankind. He always embraced life with a positive attitude, had no fear of failure, and made all those around him proud to be a part of his successes. He leaves us with his vision to face each day as our first day and to never worry about our last. He is predeceased by his wife Vivian (Barnard), his parents, two brothers, an infant daughter Jessie Mae and grandson Joshua. He is survived by his brother, sister, four children: Rusty, Carolyn, Kathy and Sarah, seven grand children and seven great-grand children. A memorial service will be held this summer on Martha’s Vineyard.
