Ruby Holcomb

Ruby J. (McNeill) Holcomb of Randolph she quietly departed this life July 9, 2020. Daughter of the late Bland McNeill Sr. & the late Rebecca (Blue) McNeill. Ruby was born August 3rd, 1932 in Robeson County, North Carolina.,As a young girl she joined Panthersford Presbyterian Church and received her education from Panthersford School. She later moved to Connecticut and graduated from Bible School College of Connecticut. She married Joseph Holcomb on January 5. 1958. Ruby attended and graduated from Zion Bible Institute of Rhode Island. Ruby worked as a senior Test Technician at Northrop Grumman, a US DoD contractor, performing testing on gyroscopes built for missiles and aircraft. She leaves to cherish her memories, (3) sisters and (1) brother. Hannah McNeill of Randallstown, Maryland, Linda Galbreath of Lumberton, North Carolina , John McNeill of Red Springs, North Carolina, Laverne Blue of North Carolina, Terelle Blue of Baltimore, Maryland and Janice McNeill of Randallstown, Maryland. She also leaves Dereck McDougald, Lyndon Dixon Greer, Eddie Greer, and Joseph (Jojo) Greer. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Holcomb, by her daughter Andrea McDougald, and by Steven Mcdougald (Williams). (5) siblings preceded her in death. Bernice, Mary, Lois, Yvonne and Bland Jr. One surviving Aunt Catherine Pearson, a host of relatives and friends.

When through our tears of sorrow, we see a curtain fall, and know a dearly loved one has gone beyond our call, we have faith and confidence in God and in his way, for he will raise the curtain on a fairer scene someday.

Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Saturday July 25 ^th 11am -1 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1 pm in the funeral home. Reception following the service. Interment will be private.
