Robert Keller

Robert “Bob” Keller died peacefully on August 10 ^th in Rockland at the age of 88.

Bob is survived by his children Douglas Edgar Keller of Whitman and Tobi Jo Bellani of Florida, his 7 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great, Great Grandchild and many Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Beloved Wife Constance S. Keller of Hanover, and his children Melody Lindsay of Hanson and Robert Charles Keller Jr. of Pembroke.

Bob was born on March 27, 1927. After growing up in Holbrook, He left High School to serve our Country and join the Navy. He was a Veteran of 2 foreign wars. Bob married Connie, his high school sweetheart and together, they welcomed 4 children into their home. He was a kind and patient father.

Bob's love of the land and water was evident and was often off to his favorite woods in Maine to Camp and Fish. He was a witty yet thoughtful soul that often had all in earshot sitting by his side, engaged in a lively discussion in anything from the latest fad to his favorite poet - Robert Frost. There was no end to his love of knowledge and he was always surrounded by books. If you asked and Bob didn’t know the answer, he knew where to find it.

A private interment will be held by his children.

There will be a Celebration of Bob’s life in the coming months and family members will be contacted with the Date and Location.
