Robert W. Johnston of Whitman formerly of Milton and Quincy passed away September 19, 2013. He was 58. Son of the late Robert and Laura (Gadecki) Johnston. He is survived by his wife Brenda (Chuckran) Johnston. Father of Russell and his wife Amy of PA, Jestin and his wife Melissa of Dracut, Craig and his wife Kathryn of Peabody, and Nina and her husband Peter of Manchester, NH. Brother of Sandy Sutterwhite of CA, Debbie Elston of CA, Barbara Cain of Norwell, Marie Johnston of ME, and David Johnston of Bridgewater. Grandfather of Kyle, Alyssa, Alana, Bella, Haley, Olivia, and Capri. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, and watching the Patriots. He enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Monday Sept. 23 rd 4-8 pm.
Funeral Mass Tuesday in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 9 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
Interment will be private.
