Richard Laliberte

Richard A. Laliberte, 75 of East Bridgewater formerly of West Roxbury passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 16, 2015. Born in Fall River to the late Alfred and Lydia (Viens) Laliberte. Mr. Laliberte graduated from BMC Durfee High School. He was a resident of West Roxbury for 37 years and before he recently moved to east Bridgewater. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and his career consisted of employment with Lechmere, Sears, Somerville Lumber Co., and Needham Appliance. He enjoyed camping with his children, traveling, occasionally to Las Vegas with friends and mostly spending time with his grandchildren.

Richard was predeceased by his wife Judith (Crook) Laliberte. He was the devoted father of daughter Michelle Laliberte and her husband Kevin Marshall of East Bridgewater, sons Richard Laliberte and his wife Laura of Bridgewater, Michael Laliberte and his wife Katie of Halifax. Loving brother of Ronald E. Laliberte of Newport, RI. Adoring grandfather of George and Abby Marshall, and Danielle, Collette, Sydney, Megan, and Ryan Laliberte. In addition he leaves behind many caring cousins and good friends.

Visitation will be held in MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St.,  Whitman on Friday Sept. 18 ^th 4-8 pm.

A Funeral Service will be Saturday at 10 am in the funeral home. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
