Richard Healey
March 17, 1943 — January 8, 2016
Richard P. Healey, 72 of Whitman formerly of Weymouth passed away January 8, 2016 at the Brockton Hospital. Loving father of William Healey of Whitman, Michael Healey and his wife Laurie, of Whitman. Brother of Joseph Healey of Sandwich, Dorothy Gotreau of Cypress, CA , Frances Rogers of Mission Viejo, CA and the late William Healey and Mary Yaw. Also, survived by his grandchildren Samantha, Mellissa, Tabitha and Vanessa Healey.
Richard was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during Vietnam. He worked for the Gillette Company for 25 years. He was a member of the Whitman Knight of Columbus Council 347, Whitman VFW Post 697 and the Whitman American Legion.
Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Wednesday Jan. 13th 4-8 pm.
Funeral Mass Thursday in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 10:30 am.
Burial with Military honors at Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45 pm.
