Raymond "Ray" Milewski

Raymond A. Milewski, 66 of Whitman died peacefully Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Good Samaritan Medical center after a period of failing health. He was born in South Weymouth, son of the late John J. and Dorothy L. (McAvoy) Milewski.

He was raised in Whitman and graduated from Whitman-Hanson High School Class of 1967. He received a degree from Cape Cod Community College, and later a diploma at Sylvania Technical School. He worked as a field technician at Electro Signal Labs in Rockland and later as a realtor in Florida for over 20 years.

Upon retiring he moved back to his home in Whitman. Ray enjoyed boating and fishing for rainbow trout in the Kettle Ponds of Cape Cod, and fished many years the Florida Keys for Dolphin Mahi Mahi, and Tarpon. He loved the roar of his Harley. He leaves behind his longtime companion Arlene Kelleher of Whitman and he will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Saturday June 6 ^th from 9-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am.

Burial will be private.
