Ralph Burke, Sr.

Ralph L. Burke, Sr., 92 of East Bridgewater formerly of Whitman passed away September 27, 2016. Husband of the late Frederica J. (Higgingson) Burke. Ralph was born in Brockton, raised in Whitman and later he moved to East Bridgewater. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WW II. He worked as an equipment operator for Local 4 for 36 years.
He is survived by his sons Edward M. Burke of Rockland, Ralph L. Burke, Jr. and, John A. Burke both of East Bridgewater, and daughter Carrie Burke of Kingston. Brother of the late Victor P, Burke and Yvonne M. Wilson. Grandfather of Kalie, Jason and Jeffrey.
Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St. Whitman on Sunday Oct. 2 nd 4-7 pm.
Funeral service Monday at 10 am in the funeral home.
Burial to follow at Colebrook Cemetery in Whitman.
