Peter J. Irwin, 35 of Quincy, died December 10, 2016 as a result of a heart attack and stroke. He was born March 27, 1981 in Boston, the son of Ellen M. Burke. He worked as a painter and in construction for many years, and in Boston at Mr. Perfection Auto for the past 14 years. He had a true passion for cars, especially the fast ones, and could name any car he drove past.
Peter was a fun-loving, generous, and kind soul. He adored and cherished his fiancée, Jackie and his beautiful daughter, Alexis. They were the center of his universe. He had a special gift for making people laugh in the best and worst situations, and everyone he encountered had a funny story to share about him. He would never think twice about helping others whether it be family, friends, or even strangers on the train—that was just his nature. He also enjoyed concerts and being outdoors, and had a love for country music.
Peter is survived by his daughter, Alexis and fiancée, Jackie of Quincy; his uncle Kevin Burke and wife Sue of Lakeville; and his uncle Robert Burke of Attleboro. He is predeceased by his mother Ellen M. Burke of Weymouth; and his loving grandparents Marianna and Peter P. Burke of East Bridgewater and Florida.
