Paul Tighe

Paul M. (P.T.) Tighe, Sr., of East Bridgewater, died on February 12, 2020 at the age of 77.  Born and raised in Dorchester, he was the son of the late Thomas P. Tighe and Alice (Marshall) Tighe.  He was predeceased by his brother, John J. Tighe, his son John A. Tighe, and daughter Stephanie Tighe.

Paul looked forward to his summers when he enjoyed boating on Robin’s Pond and enjoying a cold Bud Light.  It was humor and signature one-liners that set him apart.  He had an infectious personality that left an everlasting impression on everyone he met.

Paul was the husband to Susan (Anderson) Tighe.  He was the beloved father of Paul M. Tighe, Jr., of Rockland, Sharon M. Hennessey and her fiancé Peter Cali of Easton, Sandra L. Gallagher and husband Patrick of East Bridgewater, Scott M. Tighe and wife Tierney of Middleboro.  Gramps of Megan M. Lagerval and her husband Jeremy of East Bridgewater, Kevin M. Tighe of Boston, Audra L. Tighe of Weymouth, Pauline M. Tighe of Taunton, Ryan P. Gallagher of East Bridgewater, Mckenzi L. Hennessey of East Bridgewater, Michael R. Hennessey, Jr., of East Bridgewater, and Calleigh Elizabeth of Middleboro.  Great-Gramps of Keegan L. Lagerval of East Bridgewater.  He was the brother of Patricia of Braintree, Thomas and wife Mary Ellen of Hanover, Alice (Dolly) and her husband Richard of Hanover, and Stephen of Dorchester.

All are invited to attend visitation in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington Street, Whitman, MA on Friday, February 21 ^st 4-7 pm.

A memorial service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home.
