Patricia Kavaljian

Patricia E. Kavaljian of Abington Passed away Saturday April 22, 2017.  She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Kenneth Kavaljian.

I would like to share with you today, about my life with Patricia. We met 41 years ago. I was a host at a single’s dance. When I danced with Pat, we talked, we had 3 or 4 dances that night and got to know each other better. After the dance, I invited her for a cup of coffee with me at the local diner. At the diner, I mustered up enough courage to ask her for a date, she accepted, and that was the start of our romance. I met her mother and older brother Billy. On our dates we would go out to dinner or maybe to a movie, after spending 3 years together, that’s when I popped the big question and she accepted. On April 7, 1979 we got married. She loved traveling. We like to go by car, and we would stop at places along the way, for instance if we were on a route near Gettysburg, we would spend a day there. One placed she liked was Nashville, another was Orland, FL. Pat and I took an early retirement, and enjoyed each other’s company for many years after.
