Nathan Reisdorff

November 18, 1969 — January 29, 2021

Nathan “Nate” Reisdorff of Hanson passed away on January 29th, at the age of 51 from complications of Esophageal cancer. Nate was born in Elk Grove, IL but grew up in Silverthorne and Julesburg, CO, before his family settled in Aurora, Colorado when he was a teenager. After college, Nathan married his college sweetheart, Lora Perkins of Denver, Co and resided in central New Jersey for six years before settling in Massachusetts, where he has been a long-time resident for the past 25 years. Throughout Nate’s and Lora’s time together, they grew to depend on each other which brought them closer together. The strength in their relationship is their dedication to each other and to their beautiful children.

Nate was a loyal employee of New England Law Boston since 1996 where he worked in Information Technology. His dedication to his job and co-workers was unsurpassed, he was always ready to trouble-shoot technology issues and never gave up until any issue was fixed. Nate will be remembered as stead-fast, reliable, patient and hardworking, both at work and at home. Nate was a big movie buff who also loved to read. However, his favorite pastime was to spend time with his family.

Nathan was preceded in death by his father Robert “Bob” Reisdorff of Colorado and his Aunt Ann from Nebraska. In addition to his wife Lora, Nathan is survived by his wonderful children Sam and Lilly Perkins-Reisdorff and furry baby, Little Henry. Nate is survived by his family in Colorado: his mother, Nancy Reisdorff, his brother Nick Reisdorff, his sister Noel Schneider, his sister-in-law Cindy Reisdorff, his brother-in-law Travis Schneider, his beloved nephews Noah Reisdorff and Grant Schneider, as well as his father-in-law Michael Perkins. Nathan is also survived by family in Nebraska: his Uncle Duane Eichorn along with cousins Dan and Doug, his Uncle Jerry Reisdorff along with cousins Dan, Tony and Rachel, his aunt Elaine along with cousins Tresa and Jill, and his uncle David Reisdorff. Nate has a surviving sister and brother-in-law in Illinois, Priscilla Perkins and Terrance Brunk, along with a nephew Elliot Brunk and a niece Astrid Brunk. Nate has a surviving brother and sister-in-law residing in Washington state, Tony Perkins and Carrie O’Neill, along with nieces Imogen and Agnes Perkins-O’Neill.

A private funeral mass for the family will be held at St. Bridget’s parish in Abington, MA.
