Nancy Patterson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy W. Patterson.  Nancy was born April 8, 1945 in Boston to the late Charles and Margaret (Sharpe) Wilson.  She passed away, with her daughters at her bedside, on January 20, 2020. Nancy leaves behind her beloved children: Daniel and his wife Kimberly of South Carolina, Timothy and his wife Linda of Georgia, Sharon Barnes and her husband Rodney of West Bridgewater, and Corinne and her fiancé Richard Mello of Taunton, MA.

Nancy is also survived by her greatest treasures, her grandchildren:  Jacqueline Patterson Doyle and her husband Kerry of Colorado, Nathaniel Barnes of West Bridgewater, Lindsey Barnes and her fiancé Michael Hymer of Georgia, Andrew Patterson and his wife Ashlee of Wyoming, Matthew Anzalone of Taunton, and Mikayla Barnes of West Bridgewater. Although they didn’t get a chance to meet in person, Nancy also leaves behind her one true love, great-grandson Rory Albus Doyle of Colorado.

Nancy is predeceased by two brothers and is survived by her three sisters.

Before her retirement, Nancy spent many years working as a Medicare claims adjuster.  Nancy loved puzzles, card games, Perry Mason marathons, and family cookouts.  Throughout her life she has made a difference in so many lives, especially when playing the role of favorite aunt to her many nieces and nephews.  Nancy will be missed by the countless people who loved her.

To honor and remember Nancy, there will be a celebration of life held later this year.
