Michael Ricardo

Michael Ricardo, born Dec 26 1950, Attleboro Ma.  A great loss to all who knew him, Mike “Chester” Ricardo passed peacefully at home surrounded by his  loving family after a long battle with cancer.

He was an avid hunter and was past President of the Middleboro Sportsmens Club and member of the Hanson Rod & Rifle Club. He hunted in Maine & New Hampshire and his sons were able to join  him the last few years with “The Hunting Buddies” of 41 years. His 2 ^nd love Nascar, never missed a race and traveled all over the country to many racetracks. A huge Earnhardt fan, both Dale Sr “3” & Dale Jr “88” was always a conflict with his wife’s love of Jeff Gordon, “24”.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Diane “Esther” (Lentini) Ricardo , son Michael, wife Carol Ann and grandchildren, Justin, Sofia, & Bobby, son Stephen, wife Kat & grandchildren Daymian & Ryan.

He was the son of the late Anthony and Shirley (Honnors) Ricardo.  Survived by siblings Joseph and his wife Maggie of North Carolina, sister Cathy Ricardo Walsh and her husband Kevin of New Hamshire, brother John and his wife Paula of Dorchester, brother Frank and his wife Cheryl of Wilmington and the late Anthony Ricardo.   Also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Viewing hours Thursday  Sept. 19 ^th 4- 8pm  at the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St.,Whitman. Burial with full military honors Friday at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 11:15 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Dana Farber Cancer Institute or American Liver Foundation.
