Michael W. Marcos, 64, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA on February 9, 2017 due to health complications.

Michael is survived by his brothers, Richard Marcos and his wife Linda of Whitman, MA, Dennis Marcos and his wife Kiki of Hyannis, MA, and Gregory Barone of Whitman, MA, along with many nieces and nephews whom he cherished as if they were his own children. He was predeceased by his parents, and siblings Joseph Marcos, and Jeanne (Marcos) Valla and her husband Julie Valla.

Michael was born on August 22, 1952 in Brockton, MA. The youngest son of Emily (Marcos) Barone and Joseph Marcos, and step-child of Frank Barone, he had a gentle spirit that complemented his vibrant sense of humor and zest for life. He loved music, especially the Rolling Stones, traveling, and Boston Sports. Michael studied culinary arts at Massasoit College, and worked in construction for many years alongside his brothers, and most recently, in the service industry as a driver for multiple transport companies, including Yellow Cab in Brockton, MA.

We invite all friends and family to celebrate his life at a memorial service to be held at MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington Street, Whitman, MA, on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 12-4PM.
