Maureen Pihl

Maureen J. Berry-Pihl of Whitman formerly of Quincy passed away at her home in Whitman surrounded by her loving family April 15, 2009. She was 44. Wife of Henry D. Pihl. Devoted/Loving mother of Kevin, Christopher and Kathryn Pihl all of Whitman. Daughter of Sheila (Barry) Berry of Bridgewater and the late John A. Berry. Sister of Paula Mellyn of Bridgewater, Donna Berry of NY, Sean Berry of Pembroke, Scott Berry, and Julie Lynch both of Bridgewater. Also survived by several close Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

Maureen was a graduate of Northeastern University. She worked as a Registered Nurse in labor and delivery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Maureen loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed travel, sports, and the outdoors. She is known for her dedication to family members, loyal friends, and patients. She will be remembered personally as having great strength and conviction.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St. Whitman on Monday April 20th from 2-4 and 6-9 pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday in Holy Ghost Church in Whitman at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Internment at Pine Hill Cemetery in Quincy.
