Marlene Hayward

Marlene R. (Coonan) Hayward of Whitman passed away Thursday February 24, 2011 at South Shore Hospital. She was 71. Loving mother of Russell S. Lindsay of Whitman, Katharine Lindsay-Kelleher and her husband Shawn Sr. of Whitman and Daniel S. Hayward of Whitman. Sister of David Coonan and his wife Barbara of Whitman. Grandmother of Russell S. II, and Austin Lindsay, Samantha and Devin Hayward, Tyghe Shimkus, and Joshua and Shawn Jr. Kelleher.
Marlene was born in Whitman and was a lifetime resident. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and especially loved watching her grandchildren play sports.
Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St. Whitman, on Monday Feb. 28 th 4-8pm.
A Funeral service will follow at 8 pm in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
Burial will take place in Colebrook Cemetery at a later date.
