Marian Magdelane (Green) Woodbury passed away at her home in Halifax Thursday July 31, 2014 at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of 69 years to Robert F. Woodbury retired Deputy Fire Chief of Halifax. Daughter of the late William and Monica Green. Loving mother of Robert F. Woodbury and his wife Patricia, and Lawrence A. Woodbury retired Boston Firefighter of Halifax, Donald J. Woodbury and his wife Deborah of Kingston, Monica A. Irish and her husband Donald, and Margaret L. Logan retired Halifax Firefighter and her daughter Moriah, all of Halifax. Grandmother to Jennifer, Jessica, Melissa, Michael, Kathryn and Meghan. Sister of Lee Damian of VA, Edward Green of PA, Beatrice Schott of NJ, Eleanor Sluck of PA, and Carole Perlino of GA. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake Church 580 Monponsett St. (Rte. 58 Halifax) on Monday morning at 9 AM.
Visiting hour will take place 1 hour before Mass in the Church. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
Internment Central Cemetery, Halifax. Marion was a C.C.D. Teacher for 32 years, a Eucharistic Minister, and a Lector at Our lady of the lake Parish.
