Lucia Armentano, born on October 3, 1942, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, at the age of 82. She was the beloved daughter of the late Antonio and Dalinda Armentano.
In 1968, Lucia moved to the United States, where she married her late husband, Jose Miros. Together, they raised four loving children: Gabriela Hunt and her husband Joe of Brockton, Alicia Lopez and her husband Hector of Taunton, Virginia Miros of East Bridgewater, and late son, Jose (Pepe). Lucia was a proud grandmother to Rodrigo Natashia, Santiago, Melissa, Nathan, and Alex, and a cherished great-grandmother to Jamie and Hector III
Lucia’s life was full of love and devotion to her family. She moved back to Argentina in 1986, where she lived until 1997 before returning to the South Shore, where she lived for the remainder of her years. She was a seamstress and loved sewing and knitting. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and was deeply loved by her family and friends.
Lucia’s warm heart, kindness, and dedication to her loved ones will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, family, and strength will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Lucia on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 2-3pm in the MacKinnon Funeral Home located at 760 Washington St. Whitman, MA. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 3pm following the visitation.
