Linda Bernstein

Linda Lee (Bradbury) Bernstein age 64 of Marblehead died peacefully December 3, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Linda, who died of pancreatic cancer, was born in Peabody, MA on April 28, 1947. Her parents were the late Linwood Lee Bradbury and Olga Geraldine (Crowell) Bradbury. She is survived by her loving husband, Attorney Alan S. Bernstein. Beloved stepmother of Marion ( DiGuiseppe) Bradbury of Peabody, her devoted children Janie (Bernstein) Acevedo and son-in law Morris Acevedo of CA,  Nicholas Bernstein, and Emily Bernstein, both of Marblehead, her adored granddaughter Olivia Acevedo. Sister of Cynthia Schneider and brother in law James Schneider of Holden and niece Joanna Schneider.

She was blessed by the loving support of her other family members al well, and by the love of her dear friends and colleagues. Linda had a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and devoted her life to helping others. She worked for many years at the Center for Addictive Behaviors (CAB) and the Bayridge Hospital, She was a Reiki Master, a Kundalini yoga practitioner, and loved going on long walks. Her dog Benji and her daughter’s dog Lucy were faithful companions.
