Leonard Crosby

Leonard R. Crosby of East Bridgewater formerly of Roslindale passed away April 5, 2014. He was 81. Leonard was born in Boston.  He is a U.S.  Air Force Veteran retiring after 26 years of service achieving the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.  After retirement he worked at Morris Shoe. He was a member of the Whitman VFW Post 697, and a member of the Military Top Three Group. He’ll be missed by many especially his coffee buddies.

He is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy (Catlin) Crosby. His children Scott Crosby and his wife Susie of Germany, Lynn Montcalvo and her husband Kevin of Newburyport, and the late Karen Harris. Step-father of Brian Smith of CT, Edward Smith of CT, and Darren Smith of East Bridgewater. He was one of six siblings. Grandfather of Lenny, Steven, Zachery, Abby, Grant, Samantha and her husband Cory, Mona, and Leane. Great-grandfather of Alec and Jordan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Len’s request visiting hours will be omitted, a Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
