Kristeen M. (Shine) Bopp, 68, of Rockland, passed away on August 7, 2018, after battling a long illness. She passed with her loving family by her side, knowing she was loved by many. Kristeen was born November 9, 1949. She was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1968. She went on to recieve her LPN and worked in many nursing homes across the South Shore. Kris was loved and respected by all her co-workers and had a strong passion for nursing. In her spare time, Kris loved to play cribbage and cook for her husband. She loved Sunday football, enjoyed quilting and solving puzzles, and spending time with her family. She also loved volunteering and, throughout her years, spent her time helping out anyone she could. In her later years, she spent time at the Weymouth Food Pantry, delivering groceries to those in need. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard G. Bopp, her beloved aunt, Catherine Killion, and her brother, William R. Shine. She was the loving and devoted mother of Jason Cangeme and his wife Lisa of East Bridgewater. She adored her grandchildren, Alyssa Baldwin and Avery Cangeme (A.J.); and her Goddaughter, Kelsey Tierney. Kris leaves behind her siblings, Judy Shine Logan of Nevada, Janice Shine of Florida, Ed Shine of Weymouth, Theresa Shine of Quincy, and Joan Dixon of Maine. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Her longtime friend and fellow nurse, Deborah Tierney and her husband John of Whitman, provided lots of love and support, taking care of her in her last few months. Kris also had many other close friends who loved her dearly.

At Kris's request, there will be no services. However, donations to the Weymouth Food Pantry in her name are much appreciated. Send to Weymouth Food Pantry, P.O. Box 890009, Weymouth, MA 02189
