Kathryn E. Stanish

Kathryn Elizabeth Stanish (Sassie, Wizzie) of Weymouth passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 9, 2024. Kathryn was born, raised and educated in Savin Hill and graduated from South Boston High School with the class of 2006. After high school she worked retail jobs before finding a career as a Recovery Specialist at Highpoint in Plymouth where she has worked since.

Kathryn was a talented woman who enjoyed crafts, loved spending time with her cats and dogs and going “sparking” with her father before his passing. While she took pride in herself, her family was what she adored most. She cherished all the family time that they got to spend together.

Kathryn was the beloved daughter of Mary Stanish of Whitman, formerly of Savin Hill and the late William J Stanish. She was the loving sister of Veronica Toohey her husband Joseph, Christine Richards her husband Robert, William F Stanish his wife Susan, Diane Stanish-Penison her husband Keith, Robert Stanish his longtime friend  Lauren, Victoria Stanish-Wilson her husband Kenneth and Sean Stanish and his wife Crystal. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and fur nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Donations may be made in Kathryn’s memory to the MSPCA or to Love Life Now Foundation for Domestic Violence
