Kate Karling

Kate A. (Campbell) Karling, age 52, of Plympton passed away suddenly on Friday March 9 ^th , 2012. Loving wife of Robert A. Karling of Plympton; they would be celebrating 30 years of marriage on August 19 ^th , 2012. Dedicated mother of Randi V. Karling of Carver and Jessi M. Karling of Plympton, and deeply missed Mammy (grandmother) of Jack C. Barros and Lilah V. Barros. Beloved daughter of Joan Campbell and the late Alan Campbell, sister of Kim Deegan of Halifax, Craig Campbell, and the late Scott Campbell of Hanson. She will be forever missed and always in our hearts.

Kate grew up in Hanson, was an avid equestrian, and graduated from Whitman Hanson RHS in 1977. For over 20 years she worked as a bartender/manager at All Season’s Restaurant in Halifax. She also worked for Dennett Elementary School as a special needs aide in the early 90’s. Kate loved spending summers by the pool and she enjoyed many memorable vacations to the Caribbean with her family and friends.

Throughout her life, Kate put her whole heart into caring for those around her and always made sure to put others before herself. As an organ donor, Kate was able to give the gift of life to three individuals.

A celebration of Kate’s life is to be held at a later date.
