Julia Simmons

Julia Ann “Jules” (McCartney) Simmons of Halifax passed away on Tuesday May 17, 2016 at the age of 47. Beloved wife of Frank E. Simmons, Jr. Loving mother of Madison Lee Simmons of Halifax, and stepmother of Bryan Michael Simmons of N. Dartmouth.  Daughter of the late Alexander J and Ruth Ann (Stewart) McCartney. Sister of Florence Hannon of ME. Loving aunt of Jarred, Cade, and Spencer. Julia was involved with Crystal Springs Home, which is the residence of her daughter Madison, a home which provides a place of special education and exceptional care for those who face life’s challenges.

A celebration of Julia’s life will be held at a later date.
