Joseph Quirk

Joseph Michael “Joe’ Quirk passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2017 at the age of 50. Joe was born on August 18, 1966 in Boston, Ma to Lawrence and Patricia Quirk. Joe is pre deceased by his parents and survived by his siblings; Deborah A. Collins of Whitman, Lawrence and Christine Quirk of Whitman, Thomas and Cory Quirk of Summerville, SC, Patricia and Fred Griffin of Whitman, William and Wendi Quirk of Whitman, Shawn and Maryanne (Annie) Quirk of Rockland, and Robert and Lisa Quirk of East Bridgewater. Joe was the proud uncle of several nieces and nephews and two great-nephews.
Joe graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School in 1984 where he was a member of the wrestling and football teams. Joe loved spending time with his family and friends and he was an avid Boston Sports fan.
Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Sunday June 11 th 2-5 pm. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 5 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Joe’s life. Burial will be held at a later date.
