Joseph O'Rourke

Joseph “Joe” F. O’Rourke of Whitman passed away October 18, 2013 at the age of 50. Loving father of Korey L. O’Rourke of Medford and Aaron J. O’Rourke of Brockton. Husband of Anne F. (DiMestico) O’Rourke of Brockton. Beloved son of Joanne O’Rourke of Hanson and the late Francis “Buddy” O’Rourke. Grandson of Rose Lundsgaard of Hanson. Brother of Kerry Allen and her husband Steve Allen of Hanson, Steven O’Rourke of Burlington, VT, and Julie Gillis of Hanson. Uncle of Sean and Krissy Allen , and Adam and Alivia Gillis, and many relatives and friends.
Joe was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School Class of 81. Joe enjoyed cooking, gardening, and motorcycles. He was very funny and witty and he will be missed by all especially his many lifelong friends.
Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Thursday Oct. 24 th 3-6:30 pm.
A Service will be at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
