Joseph Conley, Sr.
January 15, 1939 — January 10, 2018
Joseph D. Conley Sr. passed away peacefully on January 10, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimers. He was the son of the late Arthur and Catherine Conley of Medford, MA and brother to Arthur Jr., James, William, Marilyn, and Claire. In his younger days, Joseph attended Malden Catholic H.S. and was employed at the family business, Conley's Bay State Overall Cleaners, in Malden, MA. He later graduated with a B.S. from Boston College and worked many years in Trucking and Traffic Management. In his leisure, he was an avid reader and enjoyed boating on the "Arcate" in Lake Winnipesaukee, NH.
Joseph is survived by his sister, Claire Eyrich of Reading, PA, and his three sons: Joseph Jr. and Isabel of East Bridgewater, MA with their two sons, Andrew and Marcus, Charles of South Weymouth, MA and Matthew of Randolph, MA.
Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Thursday Jan. 18th 3-5 pm. A memorial service will follow at 5 pm in the funeral home.
