John Norton

John Edward Norton passed away unexpectedly February, 25 ^th 2013, at his home in Harwich, MA, at the age of 48.  John was born December 4 ^th 1964, in Topeka Kansas to Heide and John Brim.  John grew up in Princeton, Massachusetts.   John was an Attorney at Law, graduating from Worcester State and the New England School of Law in 1998. John opened his own law firm on the Cape until joining the Law Offices of Bruce A. Bierhans in Hyannis Mass, in 2012.

John put himself through law school with the support of his wife, working as a chef in a number of restaurants.  His passions included cooking, cars, driving fast, skiing, hiking, traveling, fishing, sports and family.

John was very proud of his father, Staff Sergeant John LaRue Brim, who gave his life for his country in March of 1967 in the Vietnam War in an AC-47 gunship that was shot down near Danag.

John leaves behind his best friend and beloved wife Jennifra P. Norton, brother and sister in law, Michael and Susan Brim of Downingtown PA, Sister and Brother in law, Michele and Gary Romagus of Taylor Tx, brother and sister in law Karl and Loum Norton of Dracut Ma, his dog Chip [a-rooney] and cat Sydney.  John also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and many close friends whom he loved very much.

John was loved by many and always had a smile on his face and a story or joke to tell. Many would say he was “The Most Interesting Man in the World”.  He certainly was one of the happiest. He was a master on the barbeque, never met a mountain he couldn’t conquer, and while he was passionate about beer, he was also a Bushmills man through and through.

“A Celebration of John’s Life”, will be held at The Dennis Inn, 25 Scarsdale Road, Dennis, Ma 02368 on Saturday, March 2 ^nd , at 4:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the Jennifra  P. Norton Living Trust has been established.  Those wishing to contribute should send donations to 155 Griffiths Pond Road, Brewster, Massachusetts 02631.
