Joanne Palmieri

Evelyn Joanne (Brazas) Palmieri of South Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, died on January 27, 2015, at the age of 89 leaving her beloved husband of 66 years, James Palmieri. Sister of Pauline Matthews of Crystal River, FL, and the late Marjorie Whitehouse and Thomas Brazas.
Joanne leaves her daughters Joanne Tighe of Quincy and Linda Chapman of Braintree; her grandchildren Valerie Taylor and her husband Alex of Providence, RI, Andrea Sandrin and her husband Sergio of Boynton Beach, FL, Melanie Schuster and her husband Colin of Easton, Christopher Chapman and his wife Stephanie of Arlington, Elizabeth Boughan and her husband Patrick of Northampton, and David Tighe of Quincy; great-grandchildren Clara, Sebastian, Luke, Matthew, Emmett, RJ (Ryan James), and Henry; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Joanne loved books and was a library volunteer for many years, and was a recording secretary for the Weymouth Historical Society. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 2 - 4 PM at the Weymouth Historical Society, 238 Park Avenue, South Weymouth.
