James Jorritsma, Sr.

James M. Jorritsma, Sr., age 57, of Carver and Brockton, died January 8, 2021, at Signature Medical Center. Jim was born in Plymouth and raised in Brockton, a son of April and the late Jack (John) Amiro of Brockton.

He is survived by his mother, April of Brockton, his son, James, Jr., of Fall River, his sister Mary Walcott of Brockton, his brother Bill (Willard) of Wareham, 3 grandchildren, his life-partner Laura Ellis and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Cindi MacLean.

He had taken full care of his beloved mother, April, for the last several years.

Jim will be missed for his contagious excitement about the little things in life, his willingness to help, whether it be friend or stranger, his unique creativity and his loyalty and dedication to his family, especially his mum.
