Ingrid Skog

Ingrid O. (Krook) Skog, 102, of Sandwich, Mass., passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014.
She was the beloved wife of the late Hjalmar H. Skog, daughter of the late Charles and Siri Krook, and sister of the late Margaret (Krook) Oslund of Holden, Mass.
She was born in Springfield, Mass., married in 1935 and resided in Holden until retiring to Chatham, Mass. After Hjalmar's death in 1994 she moved to Sandwich. Ingrid was a proud 62-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Stella Chapter No. 3, Worcester, Mass., and had been a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Worcester.
Ingrid loved her family and enjoyed boating, oil painting, gardening, animals, the ocean and reading.
Auntie Ingie was a kind and gracious lady, beloved and revered by her family. She is survived by many generations of loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 16, at the First Church, 136 Main St., Sandwich.
