Helena Drass

Helena J. (Wood) Drass died in a house fire at her home in Whitman Saturday morning May 16, 2009. She was 73. Wife of the late Idadore Drass. Devoted mother of Leo A. Drass of PA, Stephen I. Drass of West Bridgewater, Agnes R. Silva of Whitman, Keith E. Drass of Raynham, Staciann Bowden of Whitman, Jason C. Drass of Middleboro, and Carrie E. Acorn of Whitman. Sister of George Wood of Cape Cod, Phillip Wood of Framingham, Matthew Wood of Braintree, Joseph Wood of CT, James Wood of IL, Constance Knedel of NY, and the late Regina Fleming, and Charles Wood. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Tuesday May 19th 4-8 pm. Funeral Service to follow at 8 pm in the funeral home. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment will be private.
