Glenn H. Wilson of Middleboro passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 4, 2023 at the age of 80. Glenn was raised and educated in Cambridge. Once old enough he joined the United States Army and proudly served for many years. Glenn came home and began working at the Quincy Shipyard, he transitioned into sheet metal work with Local 17 until his retirement.

Glenn was a man with many talents and hobbies. He was a tremendous mechanic and was always working on his cars, motorcycles, and anything else he could find with an engine. In his later years he took a job driving for the D.A.V. and loved every minute of it. Above all else Glenn was a family man. He cherished all the time he got to spend with them and always made sure they were cared for.

Glenn was the beloved husband of Marie "Candy" Wilson of Middleboro. He was the devoted father of Glenn Wilson Jr. formerly of Pembroke, Daniel Wilson of E. Bridgewater, Paul Wilson of Chicago, and Steven Wilson of Providence. Glenn was the cherished grandfather of John, Robert, Catherine, Abigail and Annabelle. He also leaves behind his siblings Nancy Burnette, Mona Butler and Linda Leite.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of Glenn on Saturday October 7, 2023 from 12-3 in the afternoon in the MacKinnon Funeral Home (760 Washington St. Whitman). In lieu of flowers donations in Glenn's memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
