Elizabeth L (Chase) Smith 92 passed away January 30,2022 in Middleboro at Nemasket Nursing Home peacefully with family by her side. She was born in East Freetown daughter of Phillip H. Chase and Marion L.(Howes)Chase She was the wife of the late Walter F Smith and lived in Fairhaven before entering the nursing facility. She was also the wife of the late Theo A Trinque from Middleboro. Elizabeth was the Mother of Cheryl Trinque Hovestadt and husband Frederick Hovestadt Jr of Raynham and the late Sandra Trinque Guilmette of Lincoln RI and the late Theo Trinque Jr of Taunton. She was the beloved Grandmother of Kimberly White of Wareham,Kelly (Trinque)Johnson of Lakeville, Scott Trinque and wife Gail Trinque of Lakeville and Great grandmother of nine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth enjoyed music,dancing,bingo,reading and painting. She was an avid New England sports fan. The thing she enjoyed the most over the years was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren!

She worked as a CNA at Lakeville Hospital for many yrs and was always so passionate about her work and loved the children! There were many occasions when she would bring a child or two home that had no family involved! She was the sister of the late Phillip Chase Jr,James Chase,Sally Sylvia,Shirley Perry,Phyllis Dupont, Viola Brown and Marion Chase
