Edmund Nelson

Edmund R. Nelson, (84 Years Old) passed away suddenly, on May 19th, 2022. He was the husband of Carol Nelson. They shared 65 years of marriage together.

Born in Quincy, Massachusetts on December 16th, 1937 he was the son of Robert Nelson and Arlene Nelson (Quigley). Edmund graduated from Quincy High School in 1955. He worked for the City of Brockton for 30+ years. He was a proud member of the custodial staff serving several schools, he loved working with the students and the teaching staff.

Edmund enjoyed Bowling, Bingo, Casinos and ALL NEW ENGLAND SPORTS. He loved attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Nelson of Halifax, his children, Ed Sr. of Quincy, Richard of Carver, Terry of Carver, Bobby of New Bedford, Dave of East Bridgewater and his daughter Carol who predeceased him. Loved by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The Graveside Service will be private for close family and friends held at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
