Donna Ferguson

Donna (Nutt) Ferguson of W. Bridgewater passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 76. Donna was raised and educated in E. Bridgewater and graduated from E. Bridgewater High School in 1967. She worked for many years at New England Art. In her later years she went back to school and achieved an associates degree from Massasoit Community College. She ended her working career working at St. Josephs Nursing Home.

Donna was a woman with many talents and hobbies. She enjoyed being outside, tending her gardens, putting together puzzles and watching the birds. She loved playing bocce in the league at the Lincoln AA as well as socializing and volunteering at the Enterprise club. She was truly a genuine person and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.

Donna was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Emily Nutt. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Ferguson and her daughter Stacey C. Ferguson-Connolly. Donna is survived by her daughter Shanon Ferguson of Middleboro. She was the devoted grandmother of Zachary (Ashley), Kyle, Jake (Amanda) and Cody. She also leaves behind her sisters Ruth Noyes, her husband Andy, Sandra Nashawati, her husband Chuck, Sherri Baggs, her husband Joe, Linda Pratt and many nieces and nephews, and her long time companion Brendon Flynn and family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of Donna on Saturday March 15, 2025, from 9AM-12PM in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, Whitman. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation in the funeral home at 12PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donna’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
